Inflight safety films and brand films for airlines.

Every passenger watches the safety video from start to finish, because they are forced to. This makes it the most important piece of real estate for the airline.

Boring safety videos are made to satisfy the regulator and nothing else. That is a fair reason, but it means the airline spends money on a film that millions of people watch and gets nothing back.

A proper safety video is one that is talked about long after the flight lands. It stays in service for years, gets shared outside the aircraft, and ends up representing the country as much as the carrier.

Approach

We build every safety film as a brand film. The visual style, the voice, the pacing and the music all represent the airline. A film made this way stays in rotation for years and gets watched by people who never board a flight.

What shapes a safety video

What the regulator fixes and what it does not

The safety content is set. The demonstrations, the order, the wording. Everything else is open. Where it is set, who is in it, how it looks and sounds. That part is usually treated as decoration and it is the only part that carries the brand.

Approval is part of production

Safety departments send work back. A film built without that in mind gets rebuilt late and expensively. Compliance goes into the storyboard, before anything is animated.

It is often the first thing a passenger sees of the country

For a national carrier the safety video reaches people before the destination does. It should look like it came from somewhere specific.

Fleets change

Aircraft types get added, cabins get refitted, procedures get updated. A production built for one airframe has to be remade. One built to be adapted does not.

How a project runs

01
Script and compliance mapping

We write the script and map every regulatory requirement against it alongside your safety team, so what must appear is confirmed before any visual decisions are made.

02
Storyboard

Every shot is planned in sequence and reviewed by your brand and safety teams before animation starts.

03
Design and style

The visual language, characters and world are designed and locked with your brand team, setting how the film will look and sound throughout.

04
Production

The film is animated, voiced and scored to the locked storyboard and style, with regular reviews from your production contact.

05
Delivery and safety approval

Final files are delivered in every required format, with revisions continuing until your safety department signs off.

What a production includes

Every production includes original animation, built specifically for the film rather than adapted from stock libraries. Language versions are recorded with native voice talent rather than dubbed audio, in as many languages as the airline requires. Music is either composed for the film or licensed and cleared for broadcast and inflight entertainment use. Delivery includes files built to inflight entertainment system specification, alongside separate masters prepared for social media and YouTube.

OnPath is an independent studio, and every project is run by the same people from the first script draft through to final delivery. There is no account layer between you and the people making the film. You are working directly with the person responsible for the result.
